Meet AAIA's newest physician, Robert Szalewski!
Dr. Szalewski spent most of his life in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Biology. He completed medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center prior to crossing over into Iowa to complete his Internal Medicine Residency and subsequent Allergy/Immunology Fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He has always had a love for medicine and dreams of a career in Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Szalewski met his wife Lindsey, an elementary school teacher, in college, and they have three children that keep them very busy at home: Lucas, Claire, and Sophie. He is a diehard Husker and loves to attend Nebraska sporting events. Outside of work and family life, his other hobbies include fishing and anything outdoors, playing guitar, and food. Dr. Szalewski’s journey, much like the experience at Bizzo, is one of dedication, passion, and striving for excellence. Spending most of his life in Omaha, Nebraska, he pursued his love for medicine by earning a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, followed by medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
